Yea, that is true but since it's the New World (Shin Sekai), everyone is expected to be monsters (really strong) so it's normal that everyone would be using haki. I feel like we will get to see more cooler haki users and also Luffy evolving his conqueror's haki at some point so even if haki don't feel special anymore, I feel like the evolved versions will end up being more special.

At this point I’m really only interested in shanks haki, we’ll probably see him in the elbaf arc

He didnt use it- he just forgot to conceal it- his Haki is tht strong- gets you way excited when the character is a guy tht appears once in like 150 episodes for like 5 minutes

XD true. his presence gives goosebumps. but haki consumes enough of stamina and forgetting to conceal conqueror haki isn't possible. he must be using it intentionally, rather in fun mood tho. he was visiting a legendary pirate. so, he must have to show his intensity

the reason why we didnt see any haki user before other than shanks on the first episode..

its because east blue is a peaceful place with not that much powerful people ,as luffy advanced to grand line we started to see more and more of haki users , like enel and his underlings ,garp , Kuja warriors , now that luffy is in the new world which is much more dangerous , haki is common technique.

but there is so many plot holes for this tbh
